Welcome Josie and Kerry

Two new advisors have joined the Folgate roster of experts: Josie Stevens and Kerry Knight, both based in the UK.

Josie Stevens
Josie is a senior strategic communications advisor with nearly 30 years' experience spanning global brands, sport, major international events and purpose-led organisations. Her career includes leading agency work for adidas, an in-house global communications role at Reebok, Birmingham 2022 and Sport England's This Girl Can campaign, and she has lived and worked in South Africa, the Middle East and the USA.

Today she works with CEOs and boards when communications is a strategic leadership issue — helping them navigate change, stakeholder complexity and reputational risk, and make better commercial and reputational decisions. She has a particular interest in the intersection of sport and purpose, and in sport's unique power to help organisations demonstrate what they stand for.

Kerry Knight
Kerry is a UK Chartered PR practitioner specialising in crisis preparedness, reputation management and AI governance. She advises boards, executives and leadership teams as they navigate public scrutiny, misinformation, reputational risk and organisational change. Her work often focuses on translating complex or contested subject matter into clear, credible communication that strengthens decision-making.

With an eclectic, non-traditional career, Kerry's expertise lies in sensemaking, bridging gaps between disciplines, and championing stakeholder advocacy. Across her own independent practice and a seven-year tenure as the right hand to a leading crisis practitioner, her clients have spanned billion-dollar global entities, multi-million-dollar family-run organisations, high-net-worth individuals and public figures.
