Where To Find Us In November

Busy month ahead for the Folgate community

Members are keynoting in London, chairing global health summits, travelling to Milan and Abuja, and running hands-on training on behavioural science and AI agents. Here is where to find us!

Wednesday 4 November

Bootcamp: Using behavioural science for change that sticks (online)

Organisations spend heavily on change that never quite lands, because understanding something doesn't mean people will act on it. This live masterclass moves beyond information campaigns to change what people think, feel and do, using proven behavioural science. Presented by Ann-Marie Blake. Book your spot.

Why everything you thought you knew about GEO might be wrong (London)

Tuesday 10 November

State of things: early-stage careers in communications (London)

There are fewer entry-level roles in PR than there were a few years ago. AI often gets the blame, but the data suggest the roots may lie in a post-Covid recovery that never fully arrived. A small group of senior leaders will look at the uncomfortable truths and possible solutions, kicking off with Koray Camgöz (Taylor Bennett Foundation), Matt Collette (Sequencr AI), Gill Hardy (leadership adviser, formerly WPP) and Ruth Kieran (Joe Public PR). Moderated by David Gallagher.

This event is fully booked, but there's a wait list here.

Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 November

The Global Alliance celebrates 25 years with its flagship forum, held alongside the African Public Relations Association conference, under the theme Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World. Doug Downs attends as a special guest and speaker, making the case that podcasting should be one of the most trusted channels a brand owns, not a side project. More information.
